Out with the old, in with the new

In Scotland, New Year’s Eve is called Hogmanay. It’s a special time of year of hope and togetherness as we reflect on what has been, and what is to come. It’s often marked by fireworks, and this is certainly the case for Hogmanay at Loch Lomond Waterfront.

We will put on a spectacular fireworks display at midnight on the 31st December to herald in the new year. To see them reflected in the loch is a beautiful sight and one you will never forget. We’ll also make sure you have a glass of bubbly in hand to raise a toast at the big moment!

Hogmanay breaks are a great way to relax and recharge. Our five-star luxury accommodation is a fantastic way to do this as you bring in the new year. We easily accessed central Glasgow by train from nearby Balloch and also explored Stirling (particularly the castle and Wallace memorial), the Falkirk Wheel and even Perth and Pitlochry by car. It is a very peaceful place, which can only be disturbed on occasion by your neighbours but with the Slumber Charter in place, we had absolutely no problems overnight.'
