Less than an hour’s drive from here, centres such as Bearsden Ski and Board Club, Snow Factor and Glasgow Ski and Snowboard Centre offer a range of thrilling winter sports. Including skiing, snowboarding and some centres also have tubing activities. Speeding down the slopes, you’re sure to feel the adrenaline rush!
Then, experience Loch Lomond on the water with a rip-roaring speedboat tour! Loch Lomond Leisure offer both short trips and luxury tours, which travel at speed on the open waters. They also provide water-skiing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking activities and much more.

There are loads of outdoor adventure companies in the area. In Your Element runs a range of activities, from water sports to archery and abseiling. And we have two aerial assault courses in the area, TreeZone Loch Lomond and Go Ape Aberfoyle, each with hair-raising zip lines.
Also, local equestrian centres such as Loch Lomond Pony Trekking and Lomondside Stud offer treks and lessons that will get you off the beaten track. Exploring the area on horseback is an exciting experience, as you navigate through rugged terrain and glorious Scottish landscapes.
