Auchentoshan Distillery
Visit Auchentoshan Distillery
Around 20 miles from your accommodation at Loch Lomond Waterfront, Auchentoshan Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery to the south east of Loch Lomond, near Glasgow. Pronouced “Och-en-tosh-en”, the Gaelic name means “corner of the field”. This is a great local attraction, offering whisky tours and experiences in Scotland.
Whisky Collection
Dating from 1823, this lowland distillery produces an unusual triple-distilled single malt whisky with a smooth and delicate flavour. Most whisky in Scotland is distilled twice, but Auchentoshan insist on a third distillation, which helps create its signature taste. The whisky then matures in a sherry, bourbon or wine cask.
Perfect as a straight whisky, but also wonderful in a whisky cocktail, this is a sweet and versatile spirit. View the whisky collection, along with the latest special editions.
